Alice in Wonderland and A cat cafe

Here's my Mad Hatter hat for Alice in Wonderland.  I found the directions online to make a great hat.
Here are some pics from rehearsal.

Sarah and I went around Seoul
 hanging up posters.

The show was a radio script from the 1940's that was adapted and changed for our musical.  Hae Jun translated the entire musical into Korean.  She is speaking in this picture as a radio host.  Benji is a radio announcer next to her.

Alice and the White Rabbit are singing and dancing.

The White Rabbit is singing, notice there are subtitles in Korean on the screen behind us. It was very helpful for people who's first language is not English.

Here I am as Dweedle-Dum and Derek is dressed as Dweedle-Dee

How do you do? and shake hands.

Let's have a battle!

The Walrus and the Carpenter, the tale of the Curious Oysters... come have a seat over here Alice.

Here are some monkeys singing while Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum sing "Abba Dabba Honeymoon"

Uh...Oh... There is monster in the White Rabbit's House!  Will Dodo or the Bill the Lizard help?

The Garden Sisters are singing.  Aren't they beautiful flowers?

The Chesire Cat warning Alice, "We are all mad here?"

A mad tea party.

Will Alice ever learn her table manners?
It's doubtful....
Cheer up White Rabbit, sorry we
 broke your clock.

We're painting the roses red.

The queen has arrived!

Whenever I get what I want, I don't want it....

Thank you for a great show!

Here are a few pics around Seoul.

Here are some pics from the Cat Cafe in Myeong Dong in Seoul.  You pay 8,000 won to get in and then you get a free drink. I counted at least 25 cats!  You can pet them, but you can't pick them up. Some of the cats with a blue collar might be biting or fighting cats. So watch out!

Cats everywhere!

This is where the cat have their litter boxes.

Order your drink here, watch out for the cats.

Here is Alida feeding many, many kitty kats.

The weekend after the show I went to Dream Eye Center in Myeog-Dong to get LASIK surgery.  The surgery was really quick.  Afterwards my eyes were sensitive to the light and very watery for about 4 hours.  There was no pain, which is good.  I got tired the next few days more easily because my eyes were trying to focus, but after about 3 days I felt back to my regular self minus glasses or contacts.  Now my vision is 20/15... better than 20/20 vision!
I go for a few more follow-up appointments to make sure everything is healing nicely.
