Here is my first blog from Aruba. I moved here on July 29th and will be teaching at the international school here. I haven't written a blog in awhile and this one is long overdue. I will have to do a blog about my last few weeks in Egypt, my trip to Europe, and my visit in America.
Here are a few pics from the first day.
Here is an iguana I saw right by the ocean.
The school set me up in a temporary apartment. Luckily this bed had a rail so I didn't fall out of it, haha. Also, the school bought me some snacks, tea and coffee to help me get through the first few days.
Here are some pictures from the first weekend in Aruba.

Here are some pictures of my apartment. I looked at about 4 apartments and I posted pictures of them on FaceBook. If you don't have FaceBook then you will have to be satisfied with pictures of just this apartment. It is very windy at the apartment and it's about a 3 minute drive from the nearest beach.
Here are some pictures at the Beach.
I am Jumping!
Now it's Tiffany's turn to jump!

Here are some cave paintings on the island.
Here is an abandoned Gold Mill gold smelter building right on the coast.
Here is where the natural bridge is. There is one left. The other bigger natural bridge collapsed many years ago.

We saw an abandoned water park and we took photos of it.
Here is a lizard that I saw climbing around my classroom walls.
My coworkers and I went one night to a place called Rhythm and Booze to listen to good music.

Some unusual artwork on the side of the road. I decided to turn down random roads and then we saw this artwork. We also had the car chased by dogs a few times. We saw some enormous goats and had goats running across the road too.
In San Nicholas we stopped at a bar called Charlies. They are open usually only during the day time and tourists from all over the world go there to enjoy the fun atmosphere there.
