This is my school's recent field trip to plant cabbages. We will return to the farm in two months to pick our cabbages and then we will make kimchi.
This was an efficient Korean field trip. We got the students on the busses. We went to the farm in less than ten minutes. The students were handed a cabbage plant, told to smile, they put the plant in the hole and added dirt, then had a picture with their teacher, back on the bus and back to school. Total time for the field trip was about 30 minutes..... 45 if you count all the hand washing and going to the bathroom.
You have to admit the kids are cute with their cabbages.
